I'm Catholic. First and foremost that is what I am. Everything else radiates from that. Although I'm not perfect, not even good at being a Catholic, I try my best to live what I believe. Of course I fall short. I'm human. That doesn't mean I love God any less. My hope is in His mercy, that He will see my tiny mustard seed of faith and use it for His glory.
Lent is quickly approaching. I've decided to give up the internet for the duration, excluding Sundays. I need to dive deep into Sacred Scripture and the Catechism. I'll also be reading Divine Mercy in My Soul, the Diary of St. Faustina. I've already started it, it's an amazing piece of work. I want to rekindle the furvour that filled me after my conversion. I know that the internet has contributed to my spiritual anemia. I want to start praying the prayers I used to in the beginning. I need to be more than what I am now. That is my wish this Lent.
Jesus says ask and we will receive. I pray that I will receive.
Amen and amen.
Pax Christi,
KaraLynn
